Lincs League

As a club we compete annually in the Lincs Track and Field League.

This is a series of 4 matches, currently held at the Meres Stadium in Grantham for clubs in and around Lincolnshire. There are currently 12 clubs competing and this years matches (2010) are scheduled for;
Match 1 - 28th March
Match 2 – 18th April
Match 3 – 11th July
Match 4 – 5th September

Individuals can compete in any match they wish as there is no minimum number of matches that must be attended. The matches cater for all age groups from U11 to Veterans and races are separated for Boys / Girls and Men / Women.

Due to the limited time and number of officials available on the day, a selected range of events are chosen for each match. Details for each match can be found on the Lincolnshire Athletics website at www.lincsathletics.org.uk under “fixtures”.

Entry for the Lincs League matches should be made through either Ian McCrae or Louise Richardson who are available most Tuesday nights at both Junior and Senior training.

Age Groups are based on the following dates;
Under 11 Boys /Girls - Over 9 but under 11 on 31st August 2010
Under 13 Boys / Girls – Over 11 but under 13 on 31st August 2010
Under 15 Boys / Girls – Over 13 but under 15 on 31st August 2010
Under 17 Men / Women – Over 15 but under 17 on the 31st August 2010
Under 20 Men / Women – Over 17 on the 1st September 2010 but under 20 on 31st December 2010
Veteran Women must be at least 35 on the day of the first match
Veteran Men must be at least 40 on the day of the first match

A fee of £2 per Junior and £3 per Senior is payable on the day of competition to cover the costs of the committee in staging the matches.
