Championships

Most Championships are geared towards those athletes who have proven their ability in local races, although they do not usually operate any limit in preventing entry should you wish. Entry criteria is usually residence or birthplace, but each entry should be checked for compliance in advance. Some championships will also require membership of England Athletics to allow you to compete. It should be noted that due to our clubs location, athletes may fall within different regions, dependant on residence; Cambridgeshire  Southern Athletics Association Lincolnshire  Northern Athletics Association

Cambridgeshire AAA Track and Field Championships - Saturday12^th May 2012 at the Peterborough track on the Embankment

This event is open to all athletes who were born or live in Cambridgeshire. Last year there was an entry fee of £3.00 for each individuals first event, and £2.50 for each additional event. County medals were awarded for the first three athletes in each discipline/age group. Last year the closing date was a week before the event. More details to follow.

Lincolnshire AAA Track and Field Championships - Saturday and Sunday 12^th and 13^th May 2012 at the Grantham Athletics Track

 This event is open to all athletes who were born or live in Lincolnshire.

Age group definitions Under 13, under 15 and under 17 are defined by age on 31st August 2012 Under 13 athletes must be aged 11 before 31st August 2012 Under 20 men must be under 20 on 31st December 2012.

Vests Club, School, County, Regional or National Team vest must be worn by Competitors. The final timetable of events will be published as soon as possible after compilation of the programme and will depend on numbers of entries received. Confirmation of Entry/timetable will only be sent on receipt of a stamped, pre-addressed envelope and will be posted to arrive in the middle of the week prior to the event. Alternatively, please quote a reliable e-mail address. Please note that Cambs AA have a new website (because of the problems created by hackers at the old website).
